Disparities in New Zealand

It is always challenging to represent population related values across New Zealand because of the great disparities and gap in values. For example, 34 of the 76 Territorial Authorities (TA) show a density under 10 per sq. km, when 8 have a value over 200, and one at almost 1600.
On the map below you can choose to see how TA compare in terms of population, density or median income.
The main urban centers (Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch) clearly stand out.
