VI10

This code relies heavily on the work of Mike Bostock and Michelle Weigle.

The dataset is from the football stats that we have used in prior examples. This is a subset of the "Big Five" players from VI9. The design chosen for this vis was that of superimposing conferences and player details-on-demand. The data set was a simple scatterplot comparing rushing and passing yards. While small multiples could have been used to separate conferences, a select and highlight design is currently in place to visualize this. A mouse over technique is used to provide full player stats to the user. This keeps the vis simple and uncomplicated.
