Note that the "minor unit" (shown after a pipe in the labels) is an exponent, so even though the minor unit in the USA is the cent, it's minor unit value is still 2 rather than 1.
When the minor unit is 0, that means that no unit less than their equivalent of a dollar is used in day-to-day purchases. An interesting piece of data relative to the minor unit is that Hungary maintains their minor unit despite it having no practical value.
