Flattened Scatterplot Projections

I recreated a graphic from the margin of Tufte's Envisioning Information. It simultaneously shows mutliple 2D projections of a 3D scatter plot. An image of Tufte's version is included in this Gist.

One advantage over the original printed version is that the 3D data can be rotated. Moving your mouse away from the center of the plot updates all six projections.
